I’ve been apart of the fitness community for a little over 6 years now. I started at CrossFit Sworn to get back in to some sort of “competitive” sport. Rec sports and globo gym lifting just wasn’t cutting it. I joined not knowing what a snatch even was, and had no idea 5 minutes of rowing and air squats could make me feel the way it did. I was addicted from my first day of On Ramp. I enjoyed the Olympic lifts and really wanted to get better at them, so I dedicated a lot of my time to learning the ins and out of the snatch and clean and jerk, so far as to become a Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach. I’ve been running the Sworn Barbell club for around 3 years now and have loved every minute of teaching these lifts to the new and, even, most experienced members.
